My latest beauty and skincare obsession, newly added to my cabinet full of potions, lotions, powders and oils and already a favorite is the Vine Vera Merlot collection! I first got to know Vine Vera and the beautiful bordeaux colored jars through Glossybox where two tiny samples of the Merlot Moisture Day cream were included in one of their boxes, I used them both religiously and I mean religiously, I used every tiny bit of those tiny jars! No need to say that when I was asked to review one of Vine Vera’s collections I got more than excited and especially for reviewing the Merlot collection. So here I am, a very fatigued new Mommy with the entire Merlot collection to pamper my skin, woop woop!
The Merlot collection promises to provides deep hydration and protection from free radicals and contains both anti aging and antioxidant properties, one of it’s much advertised ingredients is Resveratrol. Found in the skin of red wine grapes, Resveratrol has been found to have a number of topical benefits for human skin. (You can read more about Resveratrol here)
For me the Merlot Moisture Day and Nourishing Night creams have been an amazing match for a few reasons, as a nursing Mommy I do need to stay clear of some ingredients and I have a sensitive dry aging skin. The rich Merlot creams really make my skin feel soft and replenished and are such a quick pick-me-up in a jar for when it comes to my skin plus I love the scent (even though I normally avoid scents). I always wait a bit before applying make-up and I use the creams on my neck as well. The Resveratrol Milk cleanser and Resveratrol Balance Toner have both been as equally amazing for my skin and are already deeply rooted into my daily skincare regime. I’m still fairly new to skincare when it comes to Peeling and Exfoliants but I’m very pleased so far, even though I find both of these a bit harder to wash off. I’m super happy with these products and I feel that using the day cream made a huge difference on my skin! xoxo
